The Maxfield Public Library shall strive to meet the community's needs for knowledge,
wisdom, and well-being by providing stimuli for self-education,
enjoyment and relaxation using books, programs, materials and technology.

Public access to computers with cable connection; books; videos; DVDs; books on tape;
books on CDs, music CDs, periodicals; meeting space for community groups; programs for adults and children.

The Library Trustees meet the first Tuesday of every month at 5:00 PM in the Library meeting room.

Yes, ask at the library to be added to the mailing lists or to the email list server.

Does the library's collection include large print books?
Yes

May materials be renewed by telephone?
Yes, as long as there are no reserves on the material.

What is the loan period for books?
Two weeks

What is the loan period for non-print materials?
One week

When is story time and do I need to sign up in advance?
No advance sign up is needed. The story time season goes from September through June on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:30 & Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.
